EEEB holds final steering committee with partners
The Energy Efficiency and Environment in Buildings project (EEEB) has hosted members of the seventh and final meeting of the project Steering Committee in December 2021. The project started its activity in collaboration with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), and the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology (VPST) in August 2016.

She also noted the importance of proper and comprehensive implementation of Article 19 of the National Building Regulations as one of the most important measures in line with improving the energy efficiency in the building sector. She also presented a report on the quantitative achievements of the project, the amount of energy savings and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions resulting from the measures of this project.
Deputy National Project Manager Mehdi Shakoori explained about the second component of the project or the implementation of energy efficiency pilot projects in buildings and the obtained results and said that despite the project commitment to implement energy optimization methods in 400 buildings, this project went even beyond and covered more than 540 office and residential buildings.
