The infographics were handed over to the Iran Construction Engineering Organization with the presence of EEEB National Project Director Mr. Ali Vatani, Head of IRCEO Mr. Khorram and Mr. Shekarchizadeh the head of Road, Housing and Urban Development Research Center (BHRC) in November 2021.

These infographics cover topics such as introducing different designing methods of code 19 of the National Building Regulations, methods of thermal insulation for the building’s walls, floors and roofs, pipe insulation, low-cost and free energy management solutions in the building, etc. which have been designed and prepared by energy and buildings code expert of EEEB Mr. Adel Mohaghegh in collaboration with Mohtavak company. These infographics include 13 topics related to energy efficiency were printed in 5200 copies in A2 posters and they are aimed at increasing awareness among the country’s engineering community.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Mohaghegh presented a report on the cooperation concerning preparing the Energy Monitoring Information System in buildings (EMIS) and also discussed the training of the engineering community in five low-income provinces, which was held in collaboration with BHRC and IRCEO. After that Dr. Kari and Mr. Sheikh Ansari called on IRCEO to support and cooperate in advancing the goals of EMIS and keeping it running.

Chairman of the Energy Commission Mr. Taheri also for his part talked about the cooperation and the need to continue the training courses for other provinces.

Head of BHRC Mr. Shekrchizadeh, pointed out two major crises in the field of construction, namely earthquakes and energy, and said: "Improper use of energy in buildings can have devastating and unpleasant impacts on the country due to the lack of visibility." He also stressed the need for more cooperation between the beneficiaries in this regard.

Mr. Vatani noted that the IRCEO, with its large number of trained and experienced personnel, should take fundamental steps to improve the construction and the quality of the construction industry with an approach of reducing energy consumption, adding that training young and skilled personnel can be very effective.

In the end, Mr. Khorram, described the continuation of training in the field of building optimization as necessary for the engineering system and decided to continue training courses related to low-income provinces in other provinces.
