Pilot Building with Solar Electricity System

In line with the project of the energy efficiency and environment in a building (EEEB), a solar electricity system with 10 kW capacity has run in a residential building with 1350 m2 in Tehran. Designing and simulating the on-grid solar system has been done on PVSYST software and has been run by experts that are active in this field.

Completion of Energy Efficiency Solutions Was Unveiled In Shahid Beheshti Building

The second component of the Energy Efficiency and Environment in Buildings (EEEB) project includes the implementation of pilot projects in the office, public, and residential buildings. In this component, energy efficiency and environment solutions are implemented in buildings and the result of these solutions is published to promote and develop similar measures. The purpose of implementing energy efficiency solutions in pilot projects is to achieve 20% of electricity and 25% fuel savings in the construction sector of the country. Therefore, a number of government buildings in the city of Tehran have been selected as pilot buildings to implement these solutions. Shahid Beheshti Building (Bldg. No. 2) of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare (MCLS) is one of the first pilot buildings in which energy efficiency measures have been implemented.
